Our solutions for businesses

CO2 (carbon dioxide) extinguisher

Ideal for: Class B fires (flammable liquids) and electrical risks (servers, electrical cabinets, laboratories).

Principle: CO2 smothers the fire by displacing oxygen, without leaving any residue.

Strengths

• No residue (no cleaning required after use).
• Non-conductive: suited to live equipment.
• Recommended for technical rooms and server rooms.

Limitations

• Less effective outdoors (the gas disperses).
• Limited cooling effect: risk of reignition if the source remains very hot.
• Very cold nozzle: handle with care.

Common sizes: 2 kg, 5 kg. Typical locations: server rooms, electrical rooms, laboratories, charging areas.

Dry powder extinguisher (ABC)

Ideal for: Class A (solids), B (liquids) and C (gases) fires.

Principle: The powder interrupts the chemical reactions of combustion.

• Versatile: covers the majority of common risks.
• Fast, highly powerful action.
• Effective both indoors and outdoors.
• Residue and dust (cleaning required, potential nuisance for sensitive equipment).
• Reduced visibility while discharging.
• To be avoided in server rooms/very clean premises.

Common sizes: 6 kg, 9 kg. Typical locations: car parks, depots, loading areas, workshops, petrol stations.

Foam extinguisher (AB)

Ideal for: Class A (solids) and B (liquids) fires.

Principle: The foam cools and smothers the fire by forming an insulating blanket.

• Highly effective on hydrocarbons, solvents and flammable liquids.
• Limits reignition thanks to its cooling effect.
• Less messy than powder (limited residue).
• Not to be used on live equipment (electrical risk).
• Less suited to very cold conditions (risk of freezing without additive).

Common sizes: 6 L, 9 L. Typical locations: workshops, liquid storage areas, professional kitchens (excluding specific deep-frying oils).
