Automatic fire detectors

An automatic fire detector is an electronic safety device designed to quickly detect the early warning signs of a fire, such as smoke, an abnormal rise in temperature or, in some cases, the presence of combustion gases.

Unlike manual devices (such as manual call points), these detectors operate without human intervention: as soon as a critical threshold is crossed, they send a signal to the fire alarm control panel, which then triggers an audible or visual alarm, or relays the alert to the emergency services.

They enable an immediate response, thereby limiting the risk to people and reducing material damage.
